Q: When should I book my move with The Six Moving

A: As we work on a first come, first served basis, the earlier you book the better. This will ensure that you reserve the spot you are interested in. By booking ahead of time, this gives you more leeway to take care of other important things to plan for. Although early bookings are recommended, we also accept last-minute bookings as long as we have availability.

 

Q: Can you move just one item?

A: Absolutely! Whether you are moving everything you own, just a few pieces, or only one item, we will always be ready to move. We offer a mini-move service for single item deliveries. Simply give us a call or fill out the form to get a quote.

 

Q: Will you protect my floors, carpets, and tiles?

A: Yes. We use floor runners to protect the floors, carpets, and tiles against scratches or other forms of damage. We also protect stairwells and doors where necessary. We value the safety of the premises we work around just as much as the items to be moved.

 

Q: When does the hourly time start?

A: The clock starts we arrive at your pick-up location and ends once we have dropped off the last item at the destination.

 

Q: What are my payment options?

A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit or cash. We do not accept money orders or cheques. Final payment is due on-site, upon completion of the move.

 

Q: Will you disassemble or reassemble my bed?

A: We disassemble and reassemble upon request. We arrive fully equipped with toolboxes and drills. Some custom-made beds may need to be disassembled by the carpenter.

 

Q: Do you sell boxes and packing supplies?

A: Yes. We have a full range of supplies, including many sizes of boxes, bubble wrap, paper, tape, labels and much more. We deliver them right to your door before the move date.

 

Q: Do you pick-up and/or deliver to multiple locations?

A: The Six Moving will be happy to arrange for additional pick-ups or drop-off. This service comes at no extra cost, you are only billed for the additional time that it would take to move the extra items. However, if the locations are outside of Toronto, a small travel fee may apply. Simply call one of our reps to get more information.

 

Q: Do you provide senior citizen or student discounts?

A: We have many discount programs including but not limited to: senior discounts, student discounts, military and government worker discounts. Simply ask us!
